Mini RC Boats
Beginner Level: The mini rc boats are about three time larger than the micro versions (9 inches vs. 3 inches in length) and include such favorites as the Megatech H20 Pro Racer and the Hobbico ZigZag Racer 2. These boats can easily handle swimming pools and larger ponds, as long as the waves on the water are fairly calm and there is no current. Both of these boats come in six different frequencies which make them ideal for multiple boat racing. They are water tight and both have a self-righting roll over design. The ZigZag Racer 2 comes in three different colors and the Megatech Pro Racer is available in six different colors. I actually supply a resort in Florida with these types of boats so their guests can have races on their man-made pond! The ZigZag Racer 2 comes Ready to Run (RTR) and with a whole lot of gear including racing bouys and soccer plows that attach to the front of the boat sort of like "cow catchers" on locomotive train engines. The idea is to push a ball into the opposing team's goal. Of course you also have to fend them off trying to steal it back from you!

The Megatech H20
Pro Racer offers more control due to it's bigger rudder and can beat the ZigZag 2 Racer in a one on one competition.
This boat can go up to 15 mph so if you're looking for a small electric mini RC boat with some real speed to it, then check out the H20
Pro Racer .
This boat also comes RTR and includes the boat rechargeable battery and charger.
Regardless of which boat you choose, I recommend purchasing extra batteries so the fun can continue all day long!
